摘要: For the past three decades, pharmaceutical research has been mainly converging to novel carrier systems and nanoparticulate colloidal technologies for drug delivery, such as nanoparticles, nanospheres, vesicular systems, liposomes, or nanocapsules impart functions targeting abilities. Such opened gate towards more sophisticated effective multi-acting platform(s) which can offer site-targeting, imaging, treatment using a single multifunctional system. Unfortunately, faced major intrinsic hurdles including high cost, low stability profile, short shelf-life, poor reproducibility across within production batches leading harsh bench-to-bedside transformation.Currently, industry along with academic is investing heavily in bioconjugate structures an appealing advantageous alternative delivery all its flexible benefits when it comes custom design tailor grafting avoiding most of shortcomings. Bioconjugation ubiquitous technique that finds multitude applications different branches life sciences, gene applications, biological assays, biosensing.Bioconjugation simple, easy, generally one-step (active ingredient) conjugation, various smart biocompatible, bioreducible, biodegradable linkers, agents, PEG layer, another drug. In this chapter, types bioconjugates, techniques used throughout course their synthesis characterization, well well-established synthetic approaches formulation are presented. addition, some exemplary representatives outlined greater emphasis on practical tips tricks prominent click chemistry, carbodiimide coupling, avidin-biotin
