摘要: The vertical arrangement of nematic liquid crystals (LCs) in displays can be generally achieved by introducing a polyimide material onto indium tin oxide electrodes. However, this method requires multiple coating and deposition processes as well high curing temperature, restricting the potential applicability to flexible displays. Thus, we herein propose facile approach for homeotropic alignment LCs based on spontaneous layer formation between silver nanowire networks nonionic amphiphiles. nanowires transparent electrode materials were spin-coated glass substrate 4-(4-heptylphenyl)benzoic acids amphiphiles doped into LC medium. spontaneously bonded polyvinylpyrrolidone capping through polar interactions, creating self-assembled In addition, alkyl chains interacted with molecules, leading stable directional along direction. electro-optical characteristics manufactured cell comparable those conventional device including electrode. Overall, combination presents new way achieve without layer.
