摘要: Radiocarbon ages of soil organic matter are evaluated with a model which incorporates the dynamics the14C content matter. Measured14C or its fractions always younger than true soils due to continuous input into soils. Differences in C climate depth will result significantly different14C signatures for same age. As result, deviation measured14C age from formation could differ among different horizons. Our calculations also suggest that14C eventually reach steady state provided that no climatic ecological perturbations occur. Once horizon has reached state,14C dating provide useful information regarding soil. However, not been reached, it is possible estimate by modeling contents buried could, general, overestimate burial as much steady-state horizon.
