摘要: Four Ti-C-Fe powder mixtures, with a same molar ratio but different particle size, were used for combustion synthesis of TiC-Fe cermet to investigate effects the size on characteristics synthesis. The results showed that mixture finer Ti gave out higher temperature, reaction velocity, product density, layer-shaped pore, and greater TiC particles whether Fe was or coarser. While in case coarser used, small amount residual phase remained product, what is more interesting lower velocity than by powder. These successfully explained previously proposed mechanisms TiC-Fe, proved be valid thereby.
