摘要: An investigation has been made of the mercury (3P1) photosensitized polymerization acetylene. The is inhibited by nitric oxide and it concluded that free radicals are probably involved. quantum yield uninhibited reaction 4.5±1.2. Experiments over range 25°C to 300°C show temperature coefficient not large. A few measurements were also with Cd(3P1) Cd(1P1) atoms.
