摘要: Cyclic and dyscyclic sedimentary processes forming black shales are discussed. Based on cycle length its lithologic character four main types of variations can be distinguished: (1) Mega-scale cycles correspond to periods the earth’s history with frequently occurring shales. (2) Macro-scale form units. They result from long-term changes in bottom water circulation, supply organic matter, sea level fluctuations. (3) Meso-scale documented shale strata. fluctuations oxygen concentration matter predominate, whereas rare, i.e. rapid input sediment or matter. (4) Micro-scale laminae layers within
