摘要: Treatment of patients with multiple trauma is known to require validated established algorithms, experienced medical staff and intensive interdisciplinary cooperation between the disciplines. In order predict risk for potential complications mortality, adequate assessment crucial further treatment decisions. Therefore, different scoring systems have been developed assess injury severity outcome after trauma. These scores in common that converted a numeric value simplifying physiological reality general. But anatomic as well impact can hardly be represented comprehensively by single value. Consequently, only safely interpreted, if individual limitations each system are known.
