摘要: Objectives. To investigate whether botulinum toxin type A (BTXA) could control excessive secretion after submandibular gland (SMG) transplantation in rabbits and its possible mechanisms. Methods. new SMG model was established rabbit. 30 successfully constructed models were randomly assigned to five groups including group four experimental groups. Secretion outputs used analyze the effect of BTXA injection on secretion. Hematoxylin eosin (HE) staining, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Western blot, immunofluorescence performed Results. After injection, a significant decrease found 2 4 weeks groups, but no 12 24 HE TEM results showed that led morphological ultrastructural changes acinar cells transplanted SMG. blot suggested decreased aquaporin-5 (AQP5) protein expression for weeks. Immunofluorescence AQP5 mainly expressed cytoplasm weeks, which might indicate promoted from cell membrane cytoplasm. Conclusion. effectively rabbits.
