摘要: Environmental contamination by nitro compounds is associated principally with the explosives industry. However, global production and use of unavoidable. The presently widely used nitro-explosives are TNT (Trinitrotoluene), RDX (Royal Demolition Explosive) HMX (High Melting Explosive). Nevertheless, problems these almost parallel due to their similarities processes, abundance resembling chemical structures. per se as well environmental transformation products toxic, showing symptoms methaemoglobinaemia, kidney trouble, jaundice etc. Hence removal/degradation from soil/water essential. Aerobic anaerobic degradation have been reported, while for or anoxic described in many studies. A multisystem involvement using plants remediation gaining importance. Thus information about available jigsaw pieces which needs be arranged lacunae filled get concrete degradative schemes so that pollution can dealt more successfully at a macroscale. An overview reports on degradation, future outlook studies done us presented this review.
