摘要: Publisher Summary In recent times, homo and copolymerization of ethylene are receiving considerable attention. Polyethylene is the world's most used polymer. This because various reasons, such as low linear density polyethylene (LLDPE) produced by with high α-olefins, 1-butene, 1-hexene, 1-octene, etc., one rapidly growing polymers; possibilities producing different types ethylene–propylene copolymers, random block etc. Among catalytic systems for ethylene, metals supported on silica indeed leading catalysts in polyolefin industry. Therefore, huge amount research works appearing technical scientific literature mainly concerned this type system. However, spite efforts to understand how SiO 2 features, surface area, pore volume, size distribution, influence polymerization activity even resin properties, many questions still open discussion.
