Daytime television talk shows: Guests, content and interactions

摘要: Strident controversy over the often‐bizarre subject matter of daytime television talk shows motivated this content analysis 11 with highest Nielsen ratings in 1994–95. A sample 10 episodes each was videotaped and subjected to a systematic shows’ guests, topics discussion interactions. Results indicate that genre program indulges overrepresentation female, youthful African American guests. The most prevalent major topic parenting on nearly half episodes.
