摘要: Ischaemia-reperfusion injury (IRI) in the liver, a major complication of haemorrhagic shock, resection and transplantation, is dynamic process that involves two interrelated phases local ischaemic insult inflammation-mediated reperfusion injury. This Review highlights latest mechanistic insights into innate-adaptive immune crosstalk cell activation cascades lead to livers stressed by ischaemia-reperfusion, discusses progress large animal experiments examines efforts minimize liver IRI patients who have received transplant. The interlinked signalling pathways multiple hepatic types, kinetics positive versus negative regulatory loops at interface are discussed. current gaps our knowledge pathophysiology aspects which basic translational research still required stressed. An improved appreciation cellular events trigger sustain inflammatory responses, ultimately responsible for organ injury, fundamental developing innovative strategies treating transplant developed ischaemia-reperfusion inflammation dysfunction.
