摘要: Quality of care in medicine is not necessarily proportional to quantity and excess often useless or even more, potentially detrimental our patients. Adhering the European Federation Internal Medicine's initiative, Romanian Society Medicine (SRMI) launched Choosing Wisely Campaign, aiming cut down diagnostic procedures therapeutics overused country. A Working Group was formed from 200 published recommendations previous international campaigns, 36 were voted as most important. These submitted for voting members SRMI posted on a social media platform. After two rounds, top six established. were: 1. Stop medicines when no further benefit achieved potential harms outweigh benefits individual patient. 2. Don't use antibiotics patients with recent C. difficile without convincing evidence need. 3. regularly prescribe bed rest inactivity following injury and/or illness unless there scientific that harm will result activity. Promote early mobilization. 4. initiate an antibiotic identified indication predetermined length treatment review date. 5. opioids chronic acute pain sensitive jobs such operating motor vehicles, forklifts, cranes other heavy equipment. 6. Transfuse red cells anemia only if hemoglobin concentration less than 7 g/dL patient hemodynamically unstable has significant cardiovascular respiratory comorbidity. transfuse more units blood absolutely necessary.
