摘要: Abstract Significant efforts were undertaken to characterize the microstructure and structural properties of water-in-oil (w/o), oil-in-water (o/w), bicontinuous (bc) microemulsions composed N -alkyl- -methylgluconamides ( n -alkyl = -C 12 H 25 , 14 29 16 33 ) -alcohols (ethanol, -propanol, -butanol) or iso as cosurfactants, well -octane water. The internal structure so created four-component system was elucidated by means an analysis isotropic area magnitudes in phase diagrams conductivity measurements. Dynamic light scattering (DLS) measurements provided microemulsion size polydispersity. Polarity viscosity microenvironment acquired electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR), UV–vis absorption spectroscopy (in case w/o droplets), steady-state fluorescence (SSF) o/w droplets). results show that both surfactant cosurfactant types affect shape extent microemulsions. droplets depends strongly on type examined (linear brunched) but is almost independent length alkyl chain. ranges from 8.1 22.6 nm 3.7 14.3 respectively, for microemulsions, making them good candidates template-based reactions household components solubilizing media.
