摘要: Vitamin D deficiency during pregnancy is fairly common in many parts of the world. However, currently there no consensus on optimal vitamin intake pregnancy. known to be great importance for homeostatic functions within immune system. Maternal status may therefore affect developing system fetus, thus contributing later development immune-mediated diseases. This chapter introduces basics and discusses role maternal asthma, allergic diseases, autoimmune cancer, infections offspring. So far, strongest observational evidence underlines potential influence likelihood asthma outcomes Somewhat conflicting findings imply that might critical time windows exposure adequate levels More research needed order fully understand contribution progress
