摘要: Computer vision, despite all the recent progress, still cannot be employed technically in most hazardous and highly industrialized ar- eas. Most of alternative solutions to this modern issue are usually unavailable mainly due elevated cost overall visual inspec- tion solution. The suitable option is use an incoherent optical fiber bundle (IOFB), which clearly requires a calibration step prior im- age transmission. This technique has been presented previously received national international patents. We also contributed strongly improvement image transmission through IOFB. Thus, we summarize our chosen IOFB method associ- ated essential steps that definitively improve reconstructed quality. Furthermore, by employing new optimal combination introduce, drastically reduce processing time needed calibrate reconstruct IOFB-transmitted output compared previous proposals. Finally, present full-resolution method, described optimized methods, achieve higher definition. C 2011 Society Photo-Optical
