摘要: Tumors of the lacrimal sac are relatively rare. In reviewing literature prior to 1952, Duke-Elder· found only 117 cases. Despite its rarity, this is a tumor some importance, for it has lethal potential and yet, clinically, often masquerades as chronic inflammatory process. It impossible obtain meaningful prognostic information from large diverse group tumors reported in literature. Prognosis varies with type tumor, but diffi­ cult judge case reports. One that can be clearly separated primary epithelial neoplasms, which include benign papillomas well invasive squamous cell carcinomas.
