Geometrically exact planar Euler-Bernoulli beam and time integration procedure for multibody dynamics

摘要: A new formulation of geometrically exact planar Euler-Bernoulli beam in multi-body dynamics is proposed. For many applications, the use model sufficient and has advantage being a nodal displacement-only avoiding integration rotational degrees freedom. In this paper, an energy momentum method proposed for nonlinear in-plane flexible systems, including effects revolute joints with or without torsional springs. Large angles are accurately calculated. Several numerical examples demonstrate accuracy capabilities formulation.
