摘要: Abstract Polyunsaturated fatty acid concentrations of tissues were determined in male and female Sprague-Dawley rats weanling, 3 months, 6 months age. No significant differences found polyunsaturated acids corresponding animals. Concentrations changed with The changes different for each tissue varied the polyene concerned. Hexaenes comprised greatest portion brain while dienes predominated muscle pentaenes testes. Tetraenes uniformly high all organs studied less age than any other polyenes. Brain differed from that it contained only trace amounts but relatively large quantities tetraenes. In except a marked decrease was observed hexaene concentration as animals matured weanling to Many had lower tetraene pentaene levels at either or months. most change increase testicular between ages weeks
