摘要: Circular RNAs (circRNAs) are a large class of endogenous RNAs, formed by exon skipping or back-splicing events as covalently closed loops, which expressed abundantly in mammalian cells. Although their biological functions remain largely unknown, recent studies show that circRNAs have three main First, can regulate transcription and RNA splicing. Second, function microRNA (miRNA) sponges. Third, they be translated into protein driven N6-methyladenosine modification. Taking advantage sequencing (RNA-seq) technology, the expressions were found to dysregulated all types cancer cell lines, tumor tissues, even plasma samples from patients, correlated with certain clinical characteristics, suggesting potential roles progression. Considering conserved sequences stable structures, deemed promising biomarkers for early diagnosis prognosis prediction cancer. In this review, we describe briefly formation properties circRNAs, focus mainly on progress research function, regulation, relevance different cancers.
