摘要: Statistical active contour models (aka statistical pressure snakes) have attractive properties for use in mobile manipulation platforms as both a method visual servoing and natural component of human-computer interface. Unfortunately, the constantly changing illumination expected outdoor environments presents problems snakes their image gradient-based predecessors. This paper introduces new color-based variant that gives superior performance under dynamic lighting conditions improves upon previously published results attempts to incorporate color imagery into deformable models.
