摘要: Guidelines for "do not resuscitate" (DNR) orders recommend joint decisions by physicians and competent patients or families of incompetent patients.1-4However, some fear that discussing DNR with may be thoughtless cruel advocate the physician alone make these decisions.5It is known how actual practice conforms to recommended guidelines whether are feasible. Little about often participate in decisions, agreement possible, what problems occur when share decision making family. To address issues, our study asked several questions: First, written on a general medical inpatient service? Second, reasons given orders? Third, do decisions? Finally, decision-making process?
