摘要: INTRODUCTION: Even though fever is a common symptom in childhood, it often worries parents and they may try to reduce discomfort by giving the child paracetamol, which currently most commonly sold over-the-counter medicine. The objective of this study was investigate parentadministered paracetamol toddlers during winter period relation symptoms, doctor contacts severity-rated illness. MATERIAL AND METHODS: conducted as prospective diary covering three-month period. It comprised cohort 183 infants born February 2001 district capital area Denmark. RESULTS: According parents, total 119 (65%) received at least once period; 9.3% for more than ten days. administration rose number symptoms increased.
