摘要: WISE, the Water Information System for Europe, is web-portal of European Commission (EU) that disseminates quality state receiving water bodies and efficiency municipal wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) in order to monitor advances application both Framework Directive (WFD) as well Urban Wastewater Treatment (UWWTD). With intention develop WISE applications, aim work was define apply an integrated approach capable monitoring investments activated sludge-based WWTPs located a large spatial area, providing following outcomes useful decision-makers: (i) identification critical facilities their processes by means Performance Assessment (PAS), (ii) choice most suitable upgrading actions, through scenario analysis. (iii) assessment investment costs upgrade (iv) prioritization multi-criteria which includes stakeholders involvement, along with integration some technical, environmental, economic health aspects. The implementation proposed high number highlighted how PAS developed able identify particular effectiveness identifying nutrient removal ones. In addition, simplified considers cost related basic-configuration those WWTP integration, allowed link identified costs. Finally, questionnaire acquisition data such provided Italian Institute Statistics, defined database on costs, if properly adapted, may allow extension EU-scale information utilities institutions.
