摘要: We describe an information seeking assistant for the world wide web. This agent, called WebWatcher, interactively helps users locate desired by employing learned knowledge about which hyperlinks are likely to lead target information. Our primary focus date has been on two issues: (1) organizing WebWatcher provide interactive advice Mosaic while logging their successful and unsuccessful searches as training data, (2) incorporating machine learning methods automatically acquire selecting appropriate hyperlink given current web page viewed user user’s goal. initial design of results our preliminary experiments.
