Financial Literacy and Undergraduates: A Question of Aptitude?

摘要: Our study tests whether differing profiles of students - measured according to standard socio-demographic characteristics and their financial aptitude show different levels literacy at the beginning university careers. It is widely acknowledged that among young influenced by characteristics. Levering on results studies estimating influence genetic factors behavior, we argue along with demographics experience there are unobservable variables, such as aptitude, help explain a student’s literacy. We surveyed 366 Business Studies freshmen during first few weeks large Italian university: in other words, our sample composed no prior educational exposure matters except, some cases, high school diploma commercial or personal interest issues.
