摘要: Abstract In classical volcano correlations in electrocatalysis, the shape of (log i o ) plots versus binding energy reactant to active sites, maximum activity is associated a situation where surface coverage species equal 0.5 corresponding free adsorption zero. When studying electrochemical reactions catalysed by macrocyclic transition metal complexes adsorbed on graphite electrodes, are found when plotting formal potential catalyst for several reactions, assuming that somehow related reacting molecule. this work we offer an interpretation different from given literature these electrooxidation hydrazine. The highest catalytic achieved approaches N 2 H 4 /N reversible potential. contrast, if log (normalized actual concentrations Fe(II) sites at constant potential) plotted difference between Fe(II)/(I) catalysts and standard reaction, correlation linear with slope close 2RT/F.
