摘要: The aim of this Study was to establish a comparative investigation Antipyretic activity ethanolic extract leaves and fruits the Prosopis cineraria phytochemical evaluation extracts these parts. Crude plant at dose 200 300 mg/kg body weight were used evaluate antipyretic activity. These evaluated by inducing brewer’s-yeast induced pyrexia in albino rats. Results presented as Mean ± SEM using SPSS 12.0. Leaves fruit decreases hyperpyrexia significant level when results compared standard control. shows effects lowering rectal temperature rats than 200mg/kg while both reduce significantly. that parts contain saponins, tannins, pholobatannins, flavanoids, alkaloids, steroids cardiac glycosides. indicate possess different doses which establishes scientific basis for its traditional uses i.e. rheumatism.
