摘要: Accelerated atherosclerosis in diabetes has been suggested as being due to an enhanced oxidative modification of LDL. We hypothesized that the titers autoantibodies against oxidized LDL (oxLDL) may be increased patients with non–insulin-dependent mellitus (NIDDM) and they contribute various manifestations among such patients. In a 10-year follow-up study 91 newly diagnosed NIDDM 82 nondiabetic control subjects, oxLDL (expressed ratio native LDL) were measured at baseline after 10 years.
