摘要: Chronic liver injury, fibrosis and formation of hepatocellular carcinoma are intimately linked represent a major medical challenge since treatment options limited. Therefore, it is important to identify cellular molecular pathways that promote damage or provide hepatoprotection for development therapeutic approaches. Recently, the transcription factors STAT3 STAT5 have been implicated in induced by cholestatic damage. In this review, we summarize our current knowledge about STAT proteins focus on common activities underlie hepatoprotective mechanisms regulated IL-6/gp130/STAT3 GH/STAT5/IGF-1 signaling pathways.
