摘要: A methodology for the GIS (Geographic Information System) based analysis of DH (District Heating) potentials is introduced and applied to continental United States. The energy demand space heating hot water in residential commercial sector assessed spatially allocated using high resolution population distribution land use data. Demand centers are identified overall heat its density extracted. For each some 4800 agglomerations, average costs calculated a CHP (combined power) plant suitable technology capacity selected. results suggest that there substantial potential an extension Especially north eastern part country, significant share located areas density. Heat vary considerably, on slightly lower greater agglomerations regions with specific demands. potential, geographical technologies, as well found be strongly dependent assumed minimum classify grid cells according their suitability DH.
