摘要: A B S T R C We studied the effects of vitamin D metabolites on parathyroid hormone (PTH) secretion. Test materials were iinjected into cranial thyroid artery dog, and immunoreactive PTH was measured frequently in serum samples from inferior vein femoral vein. This model for study secretion had previouslv been validated with use ofknown moduilators oni In control experimenits, injection 100% ethanol, vehicle which cholecalciferol (D3) suspended, resulted ino change Likewise, native D3, doses ranging 250 to 1,250 nlg Ino effect oIn secretioin. 25Hydroxycholecalciferol, 25-(OH)D3, 125240 ng, caused complete suppression ofPTH
