摘要: The US Bureau of Mines investigated the magnetic susceptibility minerals as a function field strength to determine how it might affect potential for high-field separation an alternative other technologies. Single-mineral concentrates were prepared from specimens same deposit compare susceptibilities that occur together and specimen different deposits like minerals. A vibrating-sample magnetometer with superconducting capable producing 7.16 [times] 10(6) A/m (90 kOe) was used measure moment samples. data then converted specific plotted strength. Cursory studies also completed on effects iron content oxidation roasts in high fields. results showed is essentially constant fields above those needed saturate ferromagnetic constituents. Although influenced by thermal treatment, charge are not large enough influence separations 1.59 (20 kOe).
