摘要: The operational safety of civil engineered structures can be jeopardized by structural deterioration (e.g., corrosion) and damage yielding, cracking). Structural health monitoring has been proposed to provide engineers with sensors algorithms that detect degradation in a timely manner for cost-effective correction. In this paper, thin film material at the nano-scale is distributed sensing metallic structures. Assembled from single wall carbon nanotubes (SWNT) polymers, film’s electrical properties are designed change response external stimulus such as strain or tearing. Electrical impedance tomographic (EIT) conductivity imaging adopted make measurement over its complete surface area. end result true sensor offering impressive two-dimensional maps which observed fine detail.
