摘要: Multiple frequency interactions in fiber Bragg gratings provide fertile ground for new nonlinear effects. Exploiting the unusual dispersive properties of permits techniques both pulse compression and conversion. Combined with cross-phase modulation, grating allows rapid acceleration a weak while parametric amplification is automatically phase-matched, regardless underlying material dispersion. We present theoretical descriptions these effects analyze first series experiments which have successfully demonstrated due to modulation — Optical Pushbroom.
