摘要: Abstract Using a unique database of end-user local energy data and the recently developed Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) bounds testing approach to cointegration, we estimate long-run elasticities Namibian demand function at both aggregated level by type (electricity, petrol diesel) for period 1980–2002. Our main results show that consumption responds positively changes in GDP negatively price air temperature. The differences across fuels uncovered this study have significant implications taxation policy makers. We do not find any cross-price between different fuel types.
