摘要: Efficacy is both an ethical and economic obligation in the treatment of hernia. not easily accomplished without mesh patients with weak inguinal tissues. A patient who plagued by recurrent hernias poses additional challenge: a difficult repeat dissection, involving risk damaging regional nerves cord components often embedded scar tissue. Some 30 years ago, interests effectiveness, safety, ease performance, we assessed introduced original method that, making most extensive use prosthetic mesh, creates practically insurmountable barrier to recurrence, even complex cases. Through posterior preperitoneal approach, lower part visceral sac partially wrapped wide piece nonabsorbable polyester which renders peritoneal herniation virtually impossible. As parietal peritoneum endoabdominal fascia are contiguous, this procedure reinforces or replaces transversalis fascia, deeper layer groin that resists intraabdominal pressure. This became first published tension-free sutureless hernia repair.
