摘要: One of the emerging growth areas tourism is so-called adventure' tourism. Adventure has recently attracted interest older people, including a new generation baby boomers. This trend been attributed to fact that many boomers are generally healthier, more financially well off, better educated and have greater desire for novelty, escape authentic experiences than previous cohorts people. Many senior adult groups opting physically challenging adrenalin-driven activities, preferring soft adventure activities rather passive such as sightseeing tours shopping. study investigates why tourists want participate in makes recommendations tour providers about how improve services A total 14 people who were aged 50 years interviewed using qualitative research methodology. The results found most significant motive travel was need from their everyday routine by interjecting it with elements adventure. Furthermore, experience seeing different landscapes, wildlife native plants going places where few had previously ventured also an important motive. With this mind, keep prices competitive place
