摘要: A tunable light source equipped with an optical parametric amplifier (OPA) placed in a cavity for performing oscillation (OPO) driven by pump beam at frequency selected within certain range such that the OPO is near degeneracy. An adjustment mechanism adjusts wavelength tuning to select gain spectrum of and spectral control sets resonant spectrum. Thus, only one idler signal beams passband set narrowband tuner supported inside cavity. Other nonlinear conversion operations can also be performed conjunction OPO. The operated cw, near-cw pulsed operation modes as broadly covering window 250 nm.
