摘要: Sorghum shell is a rich source of phenolic compounds. Traditionally used organic solvents for these compounds extraction are toxic and not acceptable food industry. This study examined the ultrasonic-assisted ethanol–water binary solvent from sorghum shell. The results showed that factors had significant effects on yields optimum conditions were solids to 80% ethanol ratio 1:15 at 50C in 0.32-W cm−2 ultrasonic intensity bath lasting 10 min duration extracted twice. Under conditions, yield total content (TPC) was 52.23 mg GAE/g with values 53.22 μmol TE/g 2,2′-azino-bis-(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6 sulfonic acid) (ABTS) 77.01 Fe/g ferric reducing antioxidant power (FRAP). TPC positively correlated ABTS FRAP. present would provide theoretical basis deep processing functional development comprehensive utilization. Practical Applications An investigation into concentration, power, time, raw material, temperature number steps (TPC), flavonoid (TFC) proanthocyanidins (PAC) performed using single-factor experiment by assisted (UAE). UAE process parameters optimized regard temperature, amount sonication orthogonal array design (OAD). exhibited good activity could be potentially useful natural antioxidants. utilization.
