摘要: In the present study, different transition metal forms of montmorillonite have been intercalated with mono-, di-, and triethanolammonium cations via d coordination mechanism to investigate their thermal behavior, structural characteristics, surface properties, elemental composition using TG, XRD, BET, CHNS techniques. Thermogravimetric analysis showed two steps for metal-exchanged montmorillonites, which attributed desorption physically adsorbed water hydrated water, dehydroxylation water; whereas ammonium-montmorillonite complexes, TG curves three dehydration, decomposition ammonium in interlayer space montmorillonite, water. The ammonium-montmorillonites affirmed that molar mass amine compounds used affects both temperature (position) amount (intensity). XRD results revealed has linear relation basal spacings corresponding ammonium-montmorillonites, indicating changes. BET amines an inverse effect on area studied samples. samples quantitatively confirmed intercalation into montmorillonite.
