摘要: The objectives of this research were to estimate heritability (h2) heifer pregnancy and its genetic correlation (rg) with age at first calving (AFC) in a Nellore herd. Heifer evaluated as three different definitions: 16 months (Pr16) - heifers before 31 received 1 (success) those after 30.99 or that failed 0 (failure); 24 (Pr24) until 46 (including Pr16) which fail 0; (PrN) was attributed the classification 2 for months, from failure. data-set, including 30,802 weaned heifers, analyzed by method R Bayesian Inference. estimates 0.52, 0.12 0.16 Pr16, Pr24 PrN, respectively, R. mean value obtained Inference 0.45 Pr16. rg between Pr16 AFC -0.32. results indicate select sexual precocity is necessary expose all females breeding young age. Moreover, rate indicated, since trait presents high variability efficient response selection. analysis also indicates are determined genes.
