摘要: Dengue is an emerging global health problem. There still no cure or vaccine for dengue infection. As a result, disease surveillance the only method to reduce burden effectively through virus containment. diagnosis test plays crucial role in due complexity of pathogenesis. With aid immunochromatography based rapid diagnostic (ICT-RDT), infection can be diagnosed accurately. However, major drawbacks this convenient RDT are lack accuracy (range from 11% 99%) and high cost per (>RM 40). ideal demand with characteristic low particular. In paper, integrated optical Mach-Zehnder interferometer (IO-MZI) biosensor proposed achieve RDT. The design IO-MZI had been carried out by using three dimensional finite difference beam propagation (3D-FD-BPM). estimated detection limit found 5.448×10−7 RIU which sufficient diagnostic.
