Who am I in it for? Interpersonal Goals and Secure Base Support

摘要: Research has proposed a model of relationships that highlights the importance two interpersonal goals: compassionate and self-image. The present research explored role goals in shaping secure base support romantic relationships. Using cross-sectional design, Study 1 found self-image are, respectively, associated with higher lower provision for one's partner, controlling emotional responsiveness. 2 employed diary design which within-person series lagged analyses provided evidence predict daily support.
