摘要: This report describes the study of a new sanding method that has been adopted at different Norwegian airports. The is based on wetting sand with hot water before applying it onto runway surface. It results in pattern where particles are bonded to surface, creating sandpaper-like appearance. aim improve general knowledge about this warm, pre-wetted for airside and road applications. A diversity aspects addressed, such as its performance practice, how why works, optimization, possible negative effects, limitations. Data was collected during six-week field three airports testing workshop spreaders.
