摘要: Abstract The present study investigated long-term psychological effects of Cyclone Bola, which struck the East Coast New Zealand's North Island in March, 1988. Using mailed self-report questionnaires, data was collected from 118 individuals who had been evacuated their homes during and/or applied for financial aid following disaster. found that, five years after cyclone, 12% respondents could be classified as post-traumatic stress disorder cases and 17% were with high distress scores. relationship between these outcomes various risk factors examined. High scores significantly related to higher mean levels emotional at time disaster, greater dissatisfaction both post-disaster assistance social support.
