摘要: Schistosomiasis and soil-transmitted helminthiasis occur throughout the developing world remain a major public health problem in poorest communities with enormous consequences for development. The extent of has long been neglected because these diseases rarely kill at young age also their insidious nature. Today there exists momentum an unprecedented opportunity cost-effective control tropical diseases. become priority on agenda many governments, donors international agencies. This paper highlights progress made future activities Cameroon Cote d'Ivoire, where schistosomiasis measures have implemented over past decade limited budgets.
