摘要: The contribution of chlorinated hydrocarbons (CHCs) to environmental problems in the Netherlands is discussed an economic context. interactions within chlorine market, including link caustic soda production, are described, and PVC taken as a case study. Key policy options evaluated terms their potential for improvement. It appears that 95% CHC emissions causing due dissipative applications. With respect specific ozone depletion global warming, only small group compounds responsible most impact. Moreover, CHCs can strongly influence net effect measures. Policies aimed at reducing volume output certain groups will inevitably lead trade-offs between problems. impact hypothetical ban on relation use sink chlorine. Both these appear have drawbacks. no absolute conclusion be drawn until substitutes known.
