摘要: The study complements and extends our previous investigation reports that late-onset myopes (LOM's, N = 15) exhibit differences in adaptation of tonic accommodation (TA) to sustained visual tasks when compared emmetropes (EMM's, 15). Pre- post-task TA was measured with a modified Canon R-1 objective infra-red optometer under darkroom conditions. Post-task immediately after 10-min counting task at 1-s intervals over period 90 s; the located distances equivalent 1, 3, 5 D. pattern regression back pre-task level used assess degree generated by task. data indicate substantial between patterns for EMM's LOM's which were enhanced as stimulus levels increased. Using two-factor split-plot analysis variance, statistically significant could be attributed rates change accommodative both 3 D tasks.
