摘要: Primary tumors induced in newborn hamsters by simian adenovirus SA7 were investigated transfection experiments. Infectious DNA-protein complexes readily detected both the supernatant and pellet fractions obtained a modified Hirt extraction procedure; DEAE-dextran was required for infectivity to become manifest. Infectivity could be abolished exposure DNase, but it unaffected SA7-specific antiserum or RNase, only partially inactivated trypsin treatment. tumor cells serially passaged either tissue culture yielded infectious DNA much less frequently appeared evolve into nonyielder cell lines. When large numbers of lysed, intact virus recovered from all primary some subcultured There correlation between persistence complete presence complexes. carried very small amounts virus, still detected; when no longer cells, found. The results suggest that portion moieties exists as viral cells.
